IT Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead technology, digital transformation and artificial intelligence initiatives across a multinational manufacturing organization. The role reports to senior leadership and acts as a strategic partner to drive business impact through innovative technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define, plan and execute the overall IT strategy, embedding AI as a core business enabler.
• Identify, evaluate and lead AI projects in sales, marketing, operations, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, finance and HR.
• Prepare and manage the annual IT budget, prioritising automation, cloud migration and digital‑transformation investments.
• Establish guidelines for responsible, secure and ethical use of AI and ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulations.
• Guarantee availability, stability and continuity of IT services, ERP systems and digital platforms.
• Drive intelligent process automation to reduce errors, rework and operational costs.
• Lead a team of 30+ technical and functional professionals, fostering collaboration across global corporate structures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration (MBA) or Digital Transformation preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in senior IT leadership roles (IT Director, CIO, Senior IT Manager) within multinational manufacturing companies.
• Proven track record in cybersecurity, information‑security strategy, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with advanced analytics and AI solutions that improve business effectiveness.
• Extensive experience governing ERP platforms and corporate systems such as Oracle, SAP, SuccessFactors, Progress, Salesforce and Power BI.
• Experience designing, deploying and managing cloud and hybrid‑cloud infrastructures, networks and servers.
