IT Specialist – Site IT/OT Systems & Network Support

About the role

We are looking for an IT Specialist to manage, maintain and support our site‑based IT/OT systems and network connections across office and production environments. You will ensure end‑to‑end service quality, uphold IT security fundamentals and help users adopt new technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage logistics, provisioning, error analysis and troubleshooting of incidents involving SIG standard IT Workplace hardware and software.
• Deliver high‑quality end‑to‑end service provisioning in line with IT Service Management processes.
• Advise on hardware and software solutions for communication and collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with basic information‑security measures and train users on them.
• Assign authorizations according to defined workflows.
• Maintain campus cabling (copper and fiber optics) and manage transfer points to external networks.
• Troubleshoot wired and wireless campus networks and perform basic analysis of central components.
• Administer secure‑area physical infrastructure in accordance with ISO 27001.
• Understand production‑relevant IT/OT systems to prioritize ITSM tasks based on business impact.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or 2‑4 years of vocational technical training (preferred).
• Specialized technical training or certification relevant to the role.
• 2‑3 years of experience in similar IT support functions.
• Advanced English communication skills for a global IT organization.
• Understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management fundamentals.
• Customer‑oriented mindset and ability to work under pressure.
