Java Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain REST‑based microservice systems. The role involves working with cloud platforms, container orchestration, and automated pipelines to deliver reliable, high‑performance services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservice architectures using Java.
• Integrate asynchronous messaging solutions such as Kafka and AWS SQS.
• Develop, deploy, and manage applications on AWS, including serverless functions (AWS Lambda) and containerized workloads (Kubernetes).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Write and maintain automated tests covering unit, integration, regression, and performance scenarios.
• Monitor application health and performance using tools like New Relic and Splunk.

Required profile

• Strong background in Java development and RESTful service design.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and using infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Solid understanding of automated testing practices.
