Java Software Engineer – Senior Consultant (Fullstack)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our AI & Engineering team in Queretaro, Mexico. The role combines full‑stack development with consulting responsibilities, allowing you to design, build and guide enterprise solutions for a diverse set of global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and micro‑services architecture.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and production‑ready code.
• Lead development workstreams, conduct code reviews and enforce engineering standards.
• Integrate applications with databases, third‑party services and cloud platforms.
• Diagnose issues, troubleshoot defects, optimise performance and support production environments.
• Collaborate with clients to diagnose problems, interview staff, formulate recommendations and assist with implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior Java developer, preferably in a consulting or client‑facing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
