Junior Area Manager – Fulfillment Center

About the role

Amazon is seeking a motivated Junior Area Manager to lead a team of Amazon Associates in its León, GTO fulfillment center. In this entry‑level management position you will be responsible for driving safety, quality and productivity while developing a people‑focused leadership style.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a crew of 20‑50 associates on a daily shift.
• Communicate company policies, ensure compliance and take corrective action when needed.
• Design and manage recognition and communication programs to boost engagement.
• Support all safety initiatives and maintain OSHA compliance.
• Oversee building security, loss‑prevention procedures and product integrity.
• Partner with senior management to set quality‑control standards and performance goals.
• Monitor attendance, productivity and accuracy to meet customer demand.

Required profile

• Dynamic, organized self‑starter with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for 10‑12 hours and lift items up to 49 lb.
• Comfortable navigating a large warehouse environment, including ladders and stairs.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive and high‑performing workplace.
