Junior Cost Accountant

About the role
ACPS Automotive is looking for a Junior Cost Accountant to join its Querétaro plant. You will be responsible for calculating standard costs, supporting product profitability analysis, and ensuring accurate cost data in the ERP system.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare Cost Determination and Verification (CD&V) reports.
- Calculate standard costs for new and existing products, including specific processes (Maquilas).
- Maintain ERP (SAP) cost data on a monthly basis and whenever material or component prices change.
- Assist the engineering department during project quoting and new product development.
- Report any operational risk that could affect product safety according to the company’s escalation plan.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting within the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with IATF standards, ISO 14001, and CSR requirements.
- Proficient business English.
