Junior Cybersecurity Analyst – Security Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Security Operations team. You will help improve detection, investigation, and response processes across a complex SaaS environment, ensuring security outcomes are both effective and sustainable.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate alerts from endpoint, identity, email, network, and cloud sources, distinguishing real threats from noise.
• Analyze logs, telemetry, and system behavior to uncover suspicious activity.
• Participate in incident response as a member of the CIRT, handling evidence collection and reporting.
• Tune detection rules, refine triage logic, and reduce false positives while maintaining coverage.
• Identify and streamline repetitive workflows into scalable processes.
• Administer, maintain, and optimize security tools and platforms.
• Collaborate with CorpIT, Engineering, and other teams for investigations and tooling changes.
• Contribute to the development of security operations practices and overall strategy.

Required profile

• 2‑6 years of experience in security operations, incident response, or a related hands‑on role.
• A.S. or B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, or a related IT field (preferred).
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to investigate alerts, analyze logs, and support security incidents.
• Strong judgment to differentiate meaningful signals from operational noise.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM platforms.
• Knowledge of IDS, EDR/XDR solutions.
• Familiarity with email security and identity‑based detection.
• Understanding of vulnerability‑related tooling.
• Log analysis and telemetry interpretation.
