Junior HR Analyst

About the role

Cabot Corporation is seeking a Junior HR Analyst to support its global HR operations. The role will assist in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration while ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Screen and interview internal and external candidates, coordinating with line managers to meet staffing needs.
• Facilitate new‑hire orientation and onboarding processes.
• Support employee‑relations issues, providing guidance to resolve performance problems.
• Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of the Performance Based Management (PBM) system.
• Help develop and deliver training programs based on identified development needs.
• Provide salary administration support, monitor pay issues, and contribute to annual compensation planning.
• Maintain accurate employee data in the HR Information System (HRIS) and work with the HRMIS Center as needed.
• Administer employee benefits and stay informed of market trends to ensure competitiveness.
• Contribute to succession and organizational planning, expatriation, repatriation, and visa processes.
• Promote Cabot’s culture, ensure policy compliance, and support the Responsible Care® Management System.

Required profile

• Knowledge of core HR functions such as benefits, compensation, employee relations, HRIS, and data protection.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience generating HR reports.
• Ability to coach, provide career counseling, and support employee development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Lotus Notes.
• Familiarity with MS Project.
• Hands‑on experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS/HRMIS).
