Labor Relations Manager

About the role

Viva, a fast‑growing airline in the Americas, is seeking a Labor Relations Manager to lead its Labor Relations and Union Management strategy. You will ensure compliance with labor regulations, drive labor reforms, and maintain a peaceful, stable work environment that supports operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead a comprehensive Labor Relations and Union Management strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Implement labor reforms and regulatory changes, guaranteeing compliance with the current legal framework.
• Manage strategic relationships with union representatives, including negotiations, agreement follow‑up, and preventive actions.
• Partner with operational and leadership teams on high‑impact decisions such as discipline, productivity, and continuity.
• Address and resolve complex labor cases, conflicts, and internal investigations.
• Oversee key processes such as terminations, disciplinary actions, and organizational movements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law; specialization or master’s in Labor Law is a plus.
• 6–10 years of experience in Labor Relations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in organizations with 2,000+ employees and negotiating collective bargaining agreements.
• Intermediate‑advanced English proficiency.
