Lead DevOps Engineer

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate a high‑performance Perforce ecosystem and AWS infrastructure for a global game development team. You will provide technical leadership, ensure reliability and security, and mentor engineers across distributed locations.

Key responsibilities

• Define the technical vision and roadmap for an enterprise‑grade Perforce architecture supporting distributed teams.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain secure AWS infrastructure, including VPCs, subnets, routing, VPNs, firewalls, WAF and DDoS protection.
• Integrate Perforce with build systems and CI/CD pipelines, establishing high‑availability and performance standards.
• Set and enforce SLAs, operational standards, and security controls across cloud and tooling environments.
• Implement organization‑wide monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure and build bottlenecks proactively.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to DevOps engineers.
• Act as the primary technical contact for global teams and vendors.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or systems administration within the gaming industry.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in Perforce administration, replication, scaling and performance tuning.
• Advanced hands‑on experience with AWS networking and security services.
