Learning and Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Learning and Development Manager to lead the design, delivery and evaluation of training programs for the El Dorado Golf and Beach Club in Los Cabos, Mexico. Reporting to the HR Director, you will partner with business leaders to align learning initiatives with corporate goals while ensuring compliance with Mexican labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual training plan that meets operational standards and Mexican STPS requirements.
• Identify skill gaps through job analysis, career path mapping and organizational climate assessments.
• Design, deliver and evaluate training programs that enhance employee competencies, leadership capabilities and company culture.
• Coordinate mandatory food‑handling, safety and security training, including compliance with NOM‑035 and other STPS protocols.
• Lead onboarding, team‑building, internship coordination and employee recognition initiatives.
• Maintain bilingual (English/Spanish) training materials and manage distribution through internal communication channels.
• Monitor training effectiveness, calculate ROI and report results to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and managing L&D programs in a hospitality or resort environment.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law and STPS training requirements.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Excellent collaboration skills with senior managers and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to analyze data, measure outcomes and present findings.
