Logistics Analyst

About the role

As a Logistics Analyst at Jabil, you will support the optimization of the company’s global supply chain by turning complex logistics data into actionable insights. You will work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to improve cost‑effectiveness, delivery performance and overall operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyse and interpret logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities across transportation, warehousing and inventory management.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce freight costs, shorten transit times and increase delivery reliability for air, ocean and road modes.
• Monitor KPIs such as on‑time delivery, cost per unit and inventory turns, and prepare detailed reports for management.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, sales and external carriers or 3PLs to ensure seamless logistics execution.
• Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risks, including supplier disruptions, capacity constraints and regulatory changes.
• Use ERP, WMS and TMS tools to track shipments, manage inventory and generate performance reports.
• Support contract negotiations with logistics service providers and evaluate their performance.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects and present findings to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in logistics analysis or supply‑chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing or global setting.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate large data sets into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
• Proactive, results‑driven attitude and ability to work independently in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures and Incoterms.
• Lean Six Sigma or other continuous‑improvement certifications (preferred).
