Logistics Coordinator – Supply Chain

About the role

Unilever is building a state‑of‑the‑art factory in Nuevo Leon and needs a Logistics Coordinator to drive efficient distribution, cost reduction and sustainability across the site. You will act as a connector between internal and external partners, champion new ways of working and support the overall supply‑chain strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site distribution operational processes and manage the distribution budget.
• Drive logistics cost reduction through optimisation of inbound transportation and warehouse operations.
• Execute standardized logistics systems, KPIs and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Improve customer service by reducing loss in warehouse and transportation using CI tools.
• Support carbon‑reduction initiatives via warehouse improvements and transport efficiencies.
• Implement product‑group and site logistics strategies.

Required profile

• Technical mechanical‑maintenance knowledge equivalent to Year 1 of a Technical Operator Mechanical Maintenance program (bearings, shafts, couplings, basic pneumatics, lubrication).
• Experience working with SAP.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Completed bachelor’s degree or in the process of obtaining one.
• Strong analytical ability to identify performance‑improvement opportunities.
• Coaching and facilitation skills to support teams.

Required skills

• Mechanical maintenance (bearings, shafts, couplings, pneumatics, lubrication).
• SAP.
• Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
