Manufacturing Systems Manager

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Manufacturing Systems Manager to join our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) team. The role will own the strategy, implementation, support and continuous improvement of SAP Digital Manufacturing (DMC) and related manufacturing systems, acting as the bridge between Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, IT and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Phase 1 implementation and deployment: program leadership, solution design, testing, validation and change management.
• Own Phase 2 operational responsibilities: system ownership, manufacturing support and data governance.
• Drive Phase 3 continuous improvement: process optimisation, analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure manufacturing systems support business growth, operational excellence and scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing systems, MES or ERP environments, with at least 3 years on SAP manufacturing solutions.
• Proven track record implementing or supporting MES in a high‑volume, multi‑site manufacturing setting.

Required skills

• SAP Digital Manufacturing (DMC) and SAP S/4HANA integration.
• Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) – SAP ME, SAP MII, SAP EWM, SAP QM, SAP PP, SAP BTP.
• Production planning and scheduling, quality management systems, manufacturing traceability and genealogy.
• Industrial automation, SCADA integration, test equipment interfaces.
• Manufacturing KPIs, analytics and reporting.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification (preferred).
