Mechanical Installer

About the role

IT8 is seeking a Mechanical Installer to join its engineering projects in the United States. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems for automotive assembly lines, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems on‑site, including assembly line equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and propose appropriate solutions.
• Inspect and test systems to verify proper operation.
• Read and implement wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Provide on‑site maintenance for machinery and keep accurate installation records.
• Collaborate with other teams to meet project timelines and specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of proven mechanical/electrical installation experience.
• At least 6 years in the automotive industry, including assembly line installations.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• Valid passport and U.S. visa.
• Willingness to travel and work independently or in a team.
