Mobile Developer (iOS & Android) – Native Apps

About the role

Good Traffic is looking for a Mobile Developer to enhance its native iOS and Android applications that power real‑world advertising campaigns. You will join an existing production codebase, improve stability, and deliver new features that support location tracking, camera, maps, and push notifications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship new mobile features for iOS and Android using a shared GraphQL backend.
• Maintain and incrementally improve existing native codebases with a focus on maintainability and production stability.
• Refactor Android architecture (dependency injection, repository pattern, state handling) and advance UI migration to Jetpack Compose and SwiftUI.
• Identify and reduce technical debt while ensuring reliability for active users.
• Write testable code and expand unit and integration test coverage.
• Implement background location, motion/activity detection, camera usage, maps, and push‑notification functionalities.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on GraphQL schema evolution, including payments and notifications.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, crash analysis, and performance optimisation.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of professional experience building native mobile apps.
• Hands‑on experience with production codebases and a strong focus on reliability.
• Willingness to work on both iOS and Android platforms, or deep expertise in one with the ability to grow on the other.

Required skills

• iOS: Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, Swift Package Manager, MVC.
• Android: Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose, MVVM, StateFlow, SharedFlow.
• Cross‑platform: AWS Amplify (AppSync GraphQL, Cognito, S3, Pinpoint, Location), Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Messaging).
• Additional libraries: CameraX, Google Maps SDK, Activity Recognition API, EventBus, Glide, Lottie.
