Motion Data Collection Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Motion Data Collection Specialist to capture high‑quality motion data using smartphone IMU sensors and synchronized video footage. This is a remote contract position offering flexible hours.

Key responsibilities

• Capture precise motion data with a compatible smartphone (iPhone 11+, Google Pixel 6+, Samsung Galaxy S21+ or newer) using its built‑in IMU sensors.
• Record synchronized video of the activity, ensuring both hands are visible via a head‑strap setup.
• Follow detailed technical protocols to meet strict quality, labeling and determinism standards.
• Deliver at least 10 hours of approved video data each week throughout the project.
• Communicate proactively with the team to clarify requirements and share insights.
• Maintain timely delivery aligned with project milestones.

Required profile

• Access to a head‑strap that can record both hands within 48 hours of start.
• Compatible smartphone as listed above.
• Meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to follow standardized protocols.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
