MP&L Industrial Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our Materials, Production & Logistics (MP&L) team. Reporting to the MP&L Manager, you will be responsible for workstation ergonomics, annual efficiency planning, and driving continuous‑improvement initiatives across production.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the Local Ergonomics Committee and conduct ergonomic evaluations for all workstations, including new projects and accommodations for pregnant employees or those with disabilities.
• Plan, define, and execute the annual efficiency plan, generate change proposals, and coordinate with Union, HR, Safety, Maintenance, and Systems.
• Develop and deliver change‑management documentation, track rebalancing implementation, and update relevant systems (Broadcast, e‑tracker, EPQS).
• Maintain workstation compliance (target 92‑95%) and manage efficiency projects in SAP, presenting results to Finance/Controllership.
• Apply Lean tools, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and quantitative problem‑solving to improve operational performance and support new model launches.
• Forecast operating costs, prepare cost estimates, and adjust plans to meet quality, safety, and cost targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience in production, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or new‑model launch environments.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and conflict‑management abilities.
