NPI Engineer

About the role

The NPI Engineer supports the introduction of new products by providing technical assistance to production teams, ensuring that cost, quality, and schedule targets are met. This role works closely with upstream preparation functions and production staff to streamline documentation, equipment setup, and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update production documentation and technical instructions for new products.
• Maintain and modify formboards and production equipment to match product specifications.
• Translate production documents into the local language.
• Handle Q&A that do not affect product configuration.
• Identify and suggest improvements to production and industrialisation processes.
• Collaborate with upstream preparation during audits, first‑article inspections, and customer visits.
• Execute tasks delegated by upstream preparation teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar manufacturing or engineering role.
• Advanced English proficiency and ability to read technical documents in Spanish.
• Experience with new‑project implementation and tool management.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Flexibility to work early, day, or late shifts and willingness to travel.
