Operational Excellence Manager

About the role

The Operational Excellence Manager will lead continuous‑improvement initiatives that drive cost reduction, process optimisation and product quality across the plant. Reporting to the General Manager, you will work cross‑functionally to embed Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies throughout the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and execute continuous‑improvement projects using Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen.
• Lead cost‑reduction and resource‑optimisation initiatives, eliminating non‑value‑added activities.
• Present monthly progress, cost‑savings and results to General Management and corporate stakeholders.
• Develop and train Green Belt team members in improvement processes.
• Establish and sustain improvement systems such as 6S, LSW, Opex and Gemba Walks.
• Implement time‑and‑motion optimisation actions, including SMED and Kaizen projects.
• Track and achieve plant‑wide continuous‑improvement objectives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver sustainable changes that improve OEE, COPQ, CIP and MUV metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in engineering, quality or continuous‑improvement roles.
• Proven ability to lead improvement, cost‑reduction and process‑optimisation projects.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using statistical and industrial‑engineering tools.
• Fluent English for technical communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and travel as needed.
