About the role
The Operations Coordinator will support the planning and execution of educational travel tours, working closely with suppliers and the Director of Operations for a specific region. This role ensures smooth logistics, cost control, and high‑quality service delivery for our students and tour leaders.
Key responsibilities
- Manage supplier bookings and maintain accurate records.
- Research and onboard new suppliers for existing and upcoming destinations.
- Coordinate with sales representatives and product specialists to review itinerary progress and address questions.
- Follow up with suppliers after tours to resolve any issues identified in client or tour‑leader evaluations.
- Process invoices, money requests, and credit adjustments; forward all documentation to accounting.
- Assist the Operations team with on‑road issues and provide operational support to Tour Directors.
- Participate in destination workshops to strengthen relationships with current and potential suppliers.
Required profile
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken French.
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Extensive experience in the educational travel or related industry with a proven track record.
- Exceptional multitasking ability and strong collaborative teamwork skills.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
