Operations Superintendent – Integrated Projects

About the role

The Operations Superintendent leads well operations across drilling, intervention, completion and integrated service projects. Acting as the primary operational authority, the role ensures safe, efficient and cost‑effective delivery while coordinating multiple internal and external teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day well operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and performance standards.
• Allocate Well Site Supervisors and resources based on project complexity and client needs.
• Mobilise and demobilise personnel, equipment and services to minimise non‑productive time.
• Conduct operational readiness reviews and verify availability of procedures, risk assessments and equipment.
• Coordinate with Product Lines, third‑party providers, Logistics, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure execution efficiency.
• Run daily operational meetings to address issues and upcoming requirements.
• Oversee critical wellsite activities, enforce approved procedures and technical standards.
• Manage incidents, NPT events and HSE issues, supporting investigations and corrective actions.
• Serve as the main operational interface with the client, maintaining strong relationships.
• Monitor performance metrics such as safety, cost control, mobilisation efficiency and service quality.
• Support project close‑out, lessons‑learned reviews and continuous improvement.
• Mentor Well Site Supervisors and develop operational talent.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in drilling, well intervention, completion or integrated well services within the oil and gas industry.
• Proven track record leading field operations and supervising multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of operational planning, logistics coordination, resource management and cost control.
• Experience managing client relationships and acting as an operational focal point.
