Operator Training Specialist

About the role

Crown Holdings is seeking a dedicated Operator Training Specialist to design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs for its manufacturing workforce. The role supports operational excellence by ensuring operators are skilled, safe, and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update curricula and training materials for operator roles, covering machinery operation, safety, quality control, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct engaging training sessions using classroom instruction, hands‑on practice, and e‑learning methods.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations, and performance metrics, adjusting programs as needed.
• Collaborate with production managers to identify training gaps and schedule sessions with minimal production impact.
• Maintain a tracking system for employee training progress and certifications.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to reinforce skills and address performance issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing and delivering technical training in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Education, or related field preferred; relevant vocational experience also considered.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a significant advantage.
