Plant Director

About the role

Donaldson is seeking a Plant Director to lead one of its key manufacturing facilities in Aguascalientes. This senior position oversees all aspects of plant performance, ensuring alignment with business targets while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Direct overall plant operations, including production, maintenance, finance, and control functions.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑range plans for space, equipment, staffing, and resources.
• Implement cost‑control measures to improve profit while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Lead change initiatives, lean and Six Sigma projects, and drive KPI performance.
• Foster positive employee and community relations, including effective union engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in larger, unionized plants and strong change‑management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead lean initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
