Presales Consultant – Cybersecurity Solutions (Remote, Mexico City)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Presales Consultant to join Hornetsecurity’s international presales team in Mexico. The role supports the sales process with technical expertise, advising customers and partners on our cybersecurity solutions, and helping expand our presence in the region. The position is contractor‑based and can be performed fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose appropriate cybersecurity solutions.
• Engage with partners and end‑users to gather security needs and requirements.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, both on‑site and online, showcasing solution value.
• Assist with installation and connection processes of services.
• Contribute to technical aspects of proposals, tenders and RFPs.
• Support staff in resolving complex issues, especially with international partners and customers.
• Keep up‑to‑date with the latest cybersecurity threats and solutions.

Required profile

• University degree or completed IT training.
• Several years of experience in support, presales or consulting of IT solutions, preferably in email security or backup markets.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting to customers and partners.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, written and verbal.
• Proactive attitude, ability to complete tasks promptly, and comfort working in an international environment.
• High willingness to travel.
