Principal Architect

About the role

The Principal Architect will lead the design and governance of large‑scale enterprise applications for a multinational corporation. Working in a hybrid, day‑shift environment, you will focus on building highly reliable platforms that support critical business operations and deliver lasting value to customers and society.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable, cloud‑ready architectures that integrate Redis caching, SQL data stores, and C# services.
• Define target‑state application and data architectures aligned with the company’s technology strategy.
• Create reference architectures and patterns for Redis, including eviction strategies and replication models.
• Shape SQL database designs with emphasis on normalization, indexing, and query optimization for low‑latency access.
• Guide C# solution design, establishing modular service boundaries, interface contracts, and robust error handling.
• Review design documents and code implementations to ensure compliance with architectural standards.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate business requirements into measurable technical roadmaps.
• Establish and validate non‑functional requirements for performance, security, availability, and scalability.
• Drive modernization initiatives, proposing incremental refactoring toward Redis‑enabled, cloud‑compatible solutions.
• Provide technical guidance on Redis data structures, SQL stored procedures, and C# frameworks.
• Develop governance practices for versioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines.

Required profile

• 13‑15 years of experience designing and governing enterprise‑scale applications.
• Proven expertise in distributed systems that leverage Redis as a central caching and coordination component.
• Strong hands‑on background in SQL database design, schema modeling, and complex query optimization.
• Extensive experience with C# development and service‑oriented architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to create and enforce architectural governance and best‑practice standards.
