Process Engineer – Manufacturing Analytics & Robotics

About the role

The Process Engineer – Manufacturing Analytics & Robotics will design, optimize and transform manufacturing processes by leveraging advanced technologies, data‑driven decision‑making and sustainability practices. Working within Ford’s Value Engineered Lean & Learning framework, you will support next‑generation, Industry 5.0 manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize production lines using Lean Manufacturing, automation and data analytics.
• Lead implementation of smart manufacturing technologies such as IIoT sensors, digital dashboards and process simulation tools.
• Analyze production KPIs and operational data to identify continuous‑improvement opportunities.
• Drive sustainability initiatives focused on waste reduction, energy efficiency and environmental compliance.
• Improve operator experience through ergonomics, safety enhancements and human‑centered process design.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, IT, Maintenance, EHS and Automation teams to deliver predictive, data‑driven solutions.
• Support organizational change management and technology adoption across the plant.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or a related field.
• Strong technical expertise combined with an innovative mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in cross‑functional, fast‑paced manufacturing environments.
