Project Manager P1

About the role

Valeo is seeking a Project Manager (P1) to lead operational and functional aspects of assigned automotive projects. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality and profitability targets while collaborating with internal teams and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage OEM/OES projects, ensuring achievement of KPI targets for profitability, quality, and production preparation.
• Secure and control project resources, drive associated P2 actors, and resolve escalated issues.
• Validate team activities, propose timing scenarios, and conduct concept competitions when needed.
• Define project scope, manage budgets, and prepare decision‑making dossiers for governance committees.
• Submit CAA and IAR documents, manage internal and customer‑driven changes, and apply Design‑to‑Cost methodology.
• Lead AAI and development of PTMs, set objectives, and assess team performance.
• Maintain communication with customers, provide progress updates, and prepare reports for PSC and PMC.
• Promote Valeo values, ethics, health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
