QA Engineer – Data Migration & Integration

About the role

Enroute is looking for an experienced QA Engineer to ensure a smooth migration from an on‑premises Oracle and Boomi environment to Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory. You will validate that migrated data, database objects, ETL pipelines, integrations, and business rules function correctly in the new Azure platform.

Key responsibilities

• Validate migrated data, database objects, and ETL pipelines in Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data migration and integration scenarios.
• Perform data reconciliation, profiling, and quality checks between source and target systems.
• Identify, document, triage, and retest defects throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development and data engineering teams to ensure business rules are correctly implemented.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience testing data migration, ETL/ELT, or data integration projects.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation, comparison, and reconciliation.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Azure SQL.
• Ability to test ETL pipelines, data transformations, mappings, and integration logic.
• Proven experience creating test plans, test cases, execution reports, and managing defects.
• Understanding of source‑to‑target mappings, data profiling, and data quality checks.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
