Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Bosch, you will act as the single voice for customers on product quality matters, ensuring that new product launches and series production meet the highest standards. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface with external customers regarding product quality.
• Lead quality assurance activities for new product launches to achieve defined quality targets.
• Ensure product quality throughout the value chain, from raw material receipt to final shipping.
• Confirm and improve manufacturing processes for series production while guaranteeing compliance.
• Manage customer claims, initiate corrective actions, and drive improvement plans.
• Control handling of non‑conforming material and ensure rapid disposition.
• Coordinate customer quality visits and audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial); Master’s degree is a plus.
• Advanced English proficiency; German is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in manufacturing or quality, preferably in the automotive sector with direct customer contact.

Required skills

• Electronics manufacturing process knowledge.
• APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
• IATF 16949 and VDA standards.
• Problem‑solving methods: 8D, 5 Why, Six Sigma, Shainin.
• Knowledge of automotive customer requirements and B2B portals.
