Quality Coordinator – Plastic Injection & Assembly

About the role

The Quality Coordinator ensures that plastic injection molding and assembly processes meet the highest quality standards and customer requirements. You will monitor production, conduct inspections, manage documentation, and support continuous‑improvement initiatives within a leading automotive technology company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality engineers to provide effective support to processes and customers.
• Coordinate corrective actions for high‑impact reports and customer issues.
• Review in‑process and final inspections for molded and assembled parts, ensuring compliance with specifications and visual standards.
• Assist in root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain quality records and documentation such as PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support internal and external audits and drive defect‑reduction initiatives.
• Track first‑time quality, scrap rate reduction, and customer complaints.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in Quality or Manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of quality‑assurance experience in plastic injection, assembly, or a similar environment.
• Advanced level of English.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with measurement tools and quality systems.
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and problem‑solving tools.
• Experience using statistical analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans documentation.
