Quality Technician

About the role

Abbott is establishing its first health‑manufacturing facility in Querétaro and is looking for a Quality Technician to support the Electrophysiology business. The role focuses on independent evaluation of materials, components, products and processes within the Quality System, ensuring compliance and product integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify quality of raw materials, components, sub‑assemblies, packaging, labeling and related documentation.
• Perform inspections, measurements and testing of samples with minimal guidance.
• Identify, segregate and quarantine non‑conforming material according to governing procedures.
• Coordinate with Quality Engineers on material handling, quarantine and disposition.
• Execute product acceptance testing, sampling, classification and disposal based on engineering dispositions.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and support corrective, preventive and improvement actions for non‑conformances.
• Audit processes (e.g., line verification) to prevent quality system and manufacturing impacts.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently without direct line‑management responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance with corporate and divisional policies.
• Effective communication with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues.
