Reliability Maintenance Engineering Planner

About the role

Amazon is seeking a motivated Reliability Maintenance Engineering Planner to join its Operations team in Mexico. The role focuses on asset and spare management, preventative maintenance planning, and maintaining machine history data across our fulfillment network.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the site Subject Matter Expert for the CMMS software, train local engineers, and coordinate with the Global team for issue escalation.
• Ensure CMMS usage aligns with International Reliability Maintenance Engineering (IntlRME) standards and support coordinated improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment, spare parts, and minimum stock levels to guarantee technician readiness.
• Schedule and assign preventative maintenance tasks to achieve high equipment availability.
• Compile equipment performance metrics and machine histories, providing recommendations for improvements.
• Manage spare parts inventory, place orders, and track deliveries while collaborating with procurement for cost efficiencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Fluent in spoken, written, and read English.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with CMMS and maintenance planning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CMMS software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office suite.
