Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant joins Stori’s Global Accounting and Tax team, overseeing worldwide operating expenses and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role partners with department leaders to analyse spend, supports month‑end close, and drives process automation across the accounting function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all company operating expenses using Clara, Coupa and NetSuite.
• Partner with department leads to review spend, explain monthly variances and support budget‑vs‑actual analysis.
• Lead month‑end close activities for operating expenses, including accruals, prepaids and reclassifications.
• Prepare and maintain monthly intercompany transactions, service fee records and related reconciliations.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations for key expense and clearing accounts.
• Record and reconcile foreign‑currency transactions across multiple currencies and entities.
• Support internal and external audit requests related to expenses, controls and reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement scalable improvements.
• Research and resolve complex accounting issues as they arise.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Required profile

• College degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field.
• Knowledge of CNBV and SAT regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Advanced level of English.
• Understanding of tax and accounting differences across multiple countries.
