Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will join BOA Bellows Technology de Mexico in Guanajuato, overseeing core accounting functions and delivering accurate financial information to support business decisions. This full‑time, on‑site position reports to corporate finance and works closely with operations, purchasing and global finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger entries, month‑end and year‑end closings, and prepare financial statements in line with local and corporate standards.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure compliance with Mexican tax and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor budgets, support forecasting, conduct variance analysis, and provide financial insights to management.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain robust internal controls.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and support ERP (SAP/Oracle) implementation or enhancements.

Required profile

• Strong technical accounting background with experience in GL, financial statements, reconciliations, and closing cycles.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Knowledge of Mexican tax regulations and statutory reporting; experience coordinating audits.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CMA or local equivalent is a plus.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably within a multinational organization.
• Professional fluency in Spanish; English proficiency highly beneficial.
