Senior Android Developer (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑quality features for Bumble’s consumer‑facing dating app. You will work primarily with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and XML‑based views, delivering end‑to‑end solutions while integrating AI‑powered capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship Android features from technical planning through release and iteration.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to shape product vision and translate ideas into Android implementations.
• Contribute to Android architecture standards and evolve engineering practices.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience building production Android applications.
• Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to own features end‑to‑end.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency.
