Senior Associate IICE – Indirect Tax

About the role

PwC’s Acceleration Center in Mexico is seeking a Senior Associate IICE to join its Tax practice. You will work on indirect tax matters such as VAT, GST, and sales tax, helping clients navigate complex regulations and optimise their tax positions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice on indirect tax planning, compliance and optimisation.
• Navigate and interpret complex VAT, GST and sales‑tax regulations for client projects.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to support client recommendations.
• Assist clients with indirect‑tax controversies, disputes and customs‑brokerage matters.
• Prepare and review VAT returns and other indirect‑tax filings for accuracy.
• Leverage tax‑technology tools to improve efficiency in tax preparation and reporting.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to client relationship building.

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in indirect tax or related advisory work.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Strong oral and written proficiency in English.
