Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote, Mexico)

About the role

Point is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its growing engineering team in Mexico. This fully remote position offers the chance to shape the company’s cloud platform, work with cutting‑edge AI‑assisted development tools, and have a direct impact on a fast‑scaling home‑equity fintech.

Key responsibilities

• Drive adoption of agentic and AI‑assisted software development practices across engineering teams.
• Manage and scale AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure production systems.
• Build, operate, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe deployments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code for auditable, scalable environments.
• Increase developer productivity by containerizing, standardizing, and simplifying tooling and workflows.
• Plan and execute infrastructure patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management with minimal disruption.
• Partner with Security to deploy and operate SAST, DAST, and SIEM solutions.
• Lead adoption of observability platforms and enhance infrastructure and application health monitoring.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong experience with shell scripting (e.g., Bash) for automation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java).
