Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst for its Finance / Financial Planning team in Mexico City. The role delivers strategic analysis that supports key business decisions, with a hybrid work model and a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze monthly accounting close results and financial performance.
• Build forecasts for the upcoming months of the year.
• Partner with the Revenue team and client accounts to explain variances.
• Work closely with the Commercial team to support the business with financial insights.
• Prepare strategic analysis and reports that guide the business.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or engineering degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning or a similar role.
• Knowledge of transaction reporting, accounting and financial processes.
• Advanced English.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP and cloud-based financial systems; familiarity with HFM, Anaplan and/or Power BI is a plus.
• Advanced Excel, including pivot tables and database organization for account reconciliation.

• Experience in multinational companies.
• Experience collaborating with teams in the United States and/or Canada.
• Ability to turn data into clear, actionable analysis for different audiences.
