Senior HR Business Partner

About the role

Mattel is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to act as a strategic liaison between Human Resources and its support functions. You will align HR initiatives with business objectives, boost employee engagement, and help drive overall performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with department managers to align HR strategies with business goals.
• Lead talent planning sessions, including 9‑Box and succession planning.
• Collaborate on talent acquisition strategies and participate in interview processes.
• Mediate and resolve complex employee‑relations issues with empathy and discretion.
• Design and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention.
• Conduct regular meetings with business units to assess HR needs and build trust.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of HR experience, preferably as an HR Business Partner.
• Proven ability to lead and influence change.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• SHRM Certified Professional (preferred).
