Senior HRIS Analyst (Workday) - Payroll

About the role

EarnIn is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to own and evolve its Workday platform, with a primary focus on payroll administration. The role designs, configures and optimizes scalable payroll and people systems, acting as a strategic partner to People, Finance, Total Rewards and Payroll teams. It is a remote position, which could also be hybrid from the Mexico City office.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Workday Payroll configuration end-to-end, including pay groups, earnings, deductions and payroll-impacting business processes, and serve as the main systems point of contact for Payroll Operations
• Own configuration and optimization of Workday Payroll and other Core HCM areas, including security frameworks, and support Time and Absence
• Design and maintain business processes, workflows and system controls across the employee lifecycle, and lead system enhancements, releases and feature adoption
• Integrate Workday into the wider enterprise ecosystem, simplify and automate People processes, and contribute to the Workday roadmap
• Set up system governance, partner with People Operations and external Workday support on escalations, and reconcile headcount, compensation and organizational structures with financial systems
• Build and maintain Workday reports, dashboards and calculated fields, and share insights with People and Finance
• Partner with People Ops, Accounting, Payroll, Total Rewards, Finance and IT, support UAT and testing strategy, and document business processes and architecture

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll configuration and administration experience (required)
• 5+ years of HRIS experience with deep Workday expertise
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical aptitude, with a desire to learn new technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems or equivalent is a plus

What we offer

• Salary range of $184,000-$226,000 plus equity and benefits (determined by role, level and location)
