Senior Information Security Engineer – Cloud Security

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Senior Information Security Engineer focused on Cloud Security to protect its public cloud environments. The role is hands‑on, driving the implementation and operation of Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) solutions across hybrid and multi‑cloud landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and administer CNAPP platforms, including CSPM, CWPP, and CI/CD security, ensuring continuous monitoring and policy enforcement.
• On‑board and manage cloud accounts, Kubernetes clusters, and CI/CD pipelines within the CNAPP framework.
• Analyze, triage, and prioritize findings such as misconfigurations, workload vulnerabilities, runtime alerts, and policy violations.
• Collaborate with cloud platform, DevOps, SOC, and Vulnerability Management teams to track remediation and validate risk closure.
• Provide security guidance to engineering teams on remediation options and secure configuration patterns.
• Validate cloud designs against regulatory, internal, and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in cloud security engineering, preferably in a large, global organization.
• Strong understanding of cloud architectures, security controls, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with development, operations, and security teams.
