Senior Integration Engineer

About the role

As part of Genpact's Core Engineering Services team, we are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to design, develop and maintain robust integration solutions across a distributed systems landscape. The role demands deep expertise in micro-services, event-driven architectures, cloud infrastructure and data-integration patterns to build reactive, scalable systems that handle high-volume data flows.

Key responsibilities

• Implement event-driven systems using event sourcing, CQRS and saga orchestration.
• Design and develop high-performance microservices and APIs in Golang.
• Build distributed workflows with Temporal, including activities, signals and child workflows.
• Create event producers, consumers and stream processors with guaranteed delivery semantics.
• Develop integration solutions between microservices, legacy systems and third-party platforms using RESTful and gRPC services.
• Define event schemas with Protocol Buffers or JSON Schema and manage versioning.
• Provision Azure resources with Terraform and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
• Configure service-mesh solutions such as Istio or Linkerd for traffic management and observability.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Implement resilience patterns (circuit breakers, retries, bulkheads, dead-letter queues) and monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana and Azure Monitor.

Required profile

• Senior-level professional with proven experience in micro-services and event-driven integration.
• Strong background in cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience building APIs and workflows in Golang and Temporal.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
