Senior Logistics Specialist – International Operations

About the role

Teamswell is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist to lead and optimise end‑to‑end international logistics operations for its US‑based clients. This senior role blends strategic supply‑chain leadership, cost optimisation, compliance expertise and hands‑on execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end international logistics across ocean, air and inland freight, from strategy to execution.
• Negotiate directly with freight forwarders, carriers and logistics providers to reduce costs while improving service levels.
• Build and manage a reliable, direct logistics/vendor network, reducing reliance on brokers.
• Design and implement initiatives that deliver measurable cost savings, faster transit times and streamlined workflows.
• Serve as the primary authority on U.S. import/export compliance, auditing documentation to mitigate regulatory risk.
• Independently resolve complex shipment disruptions and logistics crises, implementing corrective actions without escalation.
• Collaborate with Sales and Procurement leadership to align logistics strategies with broader business priorities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive experience in global logistics or supply‑chain operations.
• Proven track record handling high‑volume international shipments.
• Strong business‑impact mindset, thinking in terms of margins and profitability.
• Deep understanding of U.S. import/export regulations.
