Senior Mobile/Web Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mobile/Web Developer to design, build, and ship a cross‑platform Installer Application. The solution combines an offline‑first Next.js web UI with a thin native shell (Capacitor) for iOS and Android, and includes native Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a hybrid Capacitor app that hosts a Next.js (React + TypeScript) UI in WebView/WKWebView.
• Create and maintain a custom Capacitor BLE plugin for iOS and Android, exposing stable JavaScript APIs.
• Implement offline‑first workflows using Service Workers, background sync, and encrypted local storage.
• Integrate camera‑based QR/barcode scanning and job documentation features.
• Build a robust update strategy with version‑gated remote UI bundles.
• Conduct end‑to‑end testing on real devices, ensure App Store and Google Play compliance, and set up CI/CD pipelines for both web and mobile components.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of professional experience in mobile and web development.
• Proven ability to translate product requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and abstraction layers.
• Experience working in large monorepos and modern package management (Git, Yarn, NPM, Node).

Required skills

• TypeScript, modern React, Next.js 14+ (SPA/PWA patterns, SSG).
• PWA fundamentals: Service Workers, Cache API, offline UX.
• Capacitor (or equivalent hybrid runtime) and WebView/WKWebView constraints.
• Native iOS development (Swift/Obj‑C) and Android development (Kotlin/Java) with BLE.
• Material UI / JSS or equivalent theming systems.
• WebSockets, real‑time status updates.
• i18n/localization and white‑labelling patterns.
• React Native release tooling (Fastlane) and store review compliance.
• Offline storage solutions (IndexedDB, WatermelonDB) and durable queue mechanisms.
