Senior Quality Engineer - Automated Testing

About the role

Peek is a remote‑first company building an AI‑powered platform for museums, attractions and travel experiences. The Senior Quality Engineer will own AI‑first test design, automation, and release quality for multiple product suites, ensuring reliability for operators worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Architect ambiguous product problems into concrete test cases and test plans, from design through production release.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude Code, Augment, etc.) to generate test implementations and critically review their output.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to surface gaps, edge cases, and push back on incomplete specs.
• Maintain high‑quality, maintainable test code, conduct thorough code reviews, and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and monitor AI‑introduced bugs before production.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional QA automation experience in SaaS or technology environments.
• Proven track record leading end‑to‑end automation initiatives and building scalable frameworks.
• Strong automation‑first mindset with a passion for AI‑enhanced testing.
• Excellent communication and ability to work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• Playwright (or Cypress/Selenium) for web automation.
• JavaScript proficiency.
• BDD/Gherkin syntax implementation.
• API testing and end‑to‑end testing practices.
• CI/CD integration (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• AI‑assisted development/testing tools such as Claude, Cursor, Augment.
• iOS automation with XCUITest/XCTest (nice to have).
