Software Development Engineer – Full-Stack (Remote, Mexico)

About the role

As a Software Development Engineer on Zillow’s Vendor Backoffice team, you will build and enhance the B2B SaaS platforms that enable real‑estate agents, brokers and vendors to work with Zillow. The role is fully remote within Mexico and offers end‑to‑end ownership of full‑stack features from design through production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and roll out full‑stack features for vendor onboarding, billing, roster management and public APIs.
• Maintain and scale backend services and modern frontend applications.
• Collaborate with product, design and customer‑success teams to create intuitive workflows and resolve customer‑impacting issues.
• Investigate technical problems, identify root causes and implement durable fixes to improve platform reliability.
• Iteratively improve the experience for business clients and contribute to foundational platform components.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional full‑stack software development experience.
• Hands‑on expertise with Laravel and PHP, including backend architecture and design patterns.
• Experience delivering end‑to‑end features from concept to customer rollout.
• Comfort working across the stack with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Familiarity with B2B SaaS products, billing systems or public API integrations is a plus.
