Software Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Trainee to join our testing team. In this entry‑level position you will support the definition, execution, and reporting of software tests while gaining hands‑on experience with quality‑assurance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Define the software test strategy based on product specifications.
• Participate in analysis of software requirement specifications.
• Specify test cases covering boundary, equivalence, and negative scenarios.
• Align test specifications with the Function Manager.
• Execute test cases according to the release scope.
• Prepare detailed software test reports.
• Support closure of test activities.
• Automate test specifications and integrate them into the continuous‑integration pipeline.
• Participate in peer reviews of test plans and specifications.
• Escalate deviations to the Software Test Lead with relevant information and proposals.
• Contribute to internal and external quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about learning software testing fundamentals.
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, function managers, and quality teams.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow defined processes.
• Proactive in identifying issues and proposing solutions.

Required skills

• Understanding of test case design techniques (boundary, equivalence, negative testing).
• Basic knowledge of test execution and reporting.
• Familiarity with continuous‑integration concepts.
