Supplier Quality & Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Supplier Quality & Development Manager to lead the identification, qualification, and long‑term performance of automotive suppliers in low‑cost‑country regions. Based in Saltillo, you will work closely with strategic partners to ensure manufacturing excellence and cost competitiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify potential suppliers with relevant manufacturing capabilities.
• Conduct comprehensive supplier assessments covering processes, technical capabilities, quality systems, APQP readiness, financial health, and risk exposure.
• Develop and execute improvement strategies, corrective‑action roadmaps, and continuous‑improvement plans.
• Analyze supplier cost structures and support should‑cost analyses.
• Monitor supplier KPIs (PPM, OTD, scrap, audit scores) and drive performance enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supplier development, supplier quality, or procurement within the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong communication, leadership, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
