Supply Chain Scheduler

About the role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Scheduler who will manage inventory levels of raw materials and component families, ensuring that production and customer demand are met on time.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels for raw materials and component families.
• Track Master Production Schedule (MPS) achievement and propose preventive actions to guarantee material availability.
• Set up and adjust appropriate inventory targets and lead inventory‑reduction initiatives.
• Measure Supplier Service Rate (SSR) for each supplier and develop improvement plans.
• Report daily inventory status and ensure materials are available to satisfy full customer demand.
• Plan material requirements based on Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) and MPS, forecasting weekly to suppliers.
• Follow daily material arrivals, verify on‑time shipments, and communicate precise information to suppliers.
• Identify bottlenecks, coordinate quick corrective actions, and attend logistics/purchasing meetings.
• Support supply‑chain improvements such as Pull flow, Kanban, EDI, and Milk‑run implementations.
• Define inbound transportation plans with external flow analysts and assist inventory counting to maintain accuracy.
• Alert sales during crises, define priorities, and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers, establish logistics protocols, and ensure backup coverage during holidays.

Required profile

• Experience managing raw‑material and component inventories.
• Familiarity with MPS, SIOP and supplier performance measurement.
• Ability to develop and execute inventory‑reduction and supplier‑improvement actions.
• Strong communication skills for daily interaction with suppliers and internal teams.
